Hey I'm considering getting a UV tattoo on my hand, and I was wondering if you could post close up images of the healed UV tattoos. I want it to be invisible or very hard to detect without UV light. Thanks!

You have some interesting thoughts! Perhaps we should contemplate about attempting this myself.

I have really enjoyed all of your blog post's about blacklight tattoos. It seems that these types of tattoos are becoming extremely popular in the world of body art. Although the UV ink is a new way to get more creative with your tattoos, it is crucial to understand the health effects of them as well.

Some UV light ink can contain phosphorous which is a chemical that is extremely harmful to the body. Often times these UV inks can turn the skin brown and even cause extreme rashes. The FDA has not yet deemed UV ink "safe" to use.

If you do decide to get a blacklight tattoo, it is important to ask your artist about the chemicals in the ink. Make sure you are taking care of your tattoo so it can heal properly.

If you have more questions about blacklight tattoo safety, check out my blog: http://saredelman.wordpress.com/

Thanks for all of your wonderful insight and tattoo inspiration!
